Interested in blogging about books, but not sure where you can join a publisher's book review program? I've enjoyed the perks of reading newly-released and soon-to-be-released books through several book blogger programs. While publishers vary in how they run their programs, the structure is typically the same: you select a book, read it, and post a review online. Depending on the publisher, you may get to choose between a free print or electronic copy. Here are some free book blogger programs and what they have to offer.

ACU Press Book Club

Got a blog? No matter how long you've been blogging and how much (or how little) traffic your blog is getting, you're welcome to join the ACU Press Book Club. Simply fill out a form and choose one Christian book to review. Visit the ACU Press Book Club to learn more.

Ambassador International

Ambassador International is a publisher with two offices: one in Greenville, North Carolina, and another in Belfast, Ireland. The publisher's mission is "...to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ and promote His gospel..." Ambassador International provides free books to its bloggers and does not currently require that bloggers have a minimum number of visitors to their blog. Current genres offered include Christian fiction and non-fiction, Children's books, and Women's interest books. To join the program, visit the Ambassador International Blogger Sign Up website.

Bethany House Reviewer

Willing to write 75 words or more about a book you've just read? Then you might have what it takes to be part of the Bethany House Blogger Review program. Choose from a fiction or nonfiction book and after reading it, submit your review to Bethany House website and post it on another website such as Amazon or Goodreads. Become a Bethany House reviewer by submitting an online form.

Blogging For Books

Business, entertainment, crafts, politics, mysteries - what's your pleasure? You can have it all when you're Blogging for Books. Blogging for Books began as an effort of Multnomah Publishers, an evangelical Christian publisher, but now includes books that include other interests. Blogging for Books is open to citizens in the US and elsewhere; those living outside the US will receive eBooks. To get free books, visit the Blogging For Books registration site.

Hay House Book Nook

Hay House Book Nook is one of the larger free book blogger programs. This publisher is the company that has featured major authors such as Iyanla Vanzant, Doreen Virtue, Dr. Wayne Dwyer, Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson. Something for everyone is sure to be found: books about food, fitness, feng shui, angels, self-help, relationships and even kids' books have been offered through Hay House Book Nook. To join, read the terms and conditions and register at Hay House Book Nook.

Olive Press

Olive Press is one of the more unique book blogger review programs. This publisher specializes in Messianic and Christian books and its authors may have never been published before. To join the program, your blog will need to already be up and running and you'll need to provide a link to your blog. Upon approval, you'll receive word as to what books are available, and you'll get to choose one book at a time to read. Visit the Olive Press Book Review Program to apply for a free membership.

Tyndale Blog Network

Stephen Arterburn, George Barna, Jill Briscoe, Candace Calvert, Jeremy Camp, Gary Chapman, Mark Driscoll, Les and Lesley Parrott, Charles Swindoll and Zig Ziglar are just some of the authors whose books are up for grabs in this review program. To join the Tyndale Blog Network, you'll need to apply and provide information on how much traffic your blog gets and how you're involved on social media. You may or may not be admitted into the program, and you'll received a decision no later than five business days. Apply to join here on the Tyndale Blog Network website.
